  • Communicate with Illumina account executive and directly with clients to deliver courses on schedule.

Developed online adventure game/e-Learning course targeted to youths who have social challenges, including those on the autism spectrum. Beta testing at

  • Responsible for graphic design elements and animations; produced, edited, and provided animations for all videos.

  • Created comic book from screenplay as learning aid, and created the design, props, and layouts for all comics.

  • Created numerous CrazyTalk cartoon animations related to characters in the Adventure.

Past Experience (1987 - 2010)


Comprehensive corporate law practice included advising clients on commercial law, with emphasis on contracts, real estate, litigation administration, trademark administration, employment law, product labeling, and warranty law. Combined analytic and creative skills to effectively identify, analyze, and resolve issues.  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills contributed to a positive team dynamic and provided ability to work well at all levels within the organization.

VP Contracts – Armstrong Cabinet Products, a division of Armstrong World Industries, Inc. (June 2002 – June 2010) Managed Contracts Department for major manufacturer of kitchen and bathroom cabinets. Reported to company president.


In-house Counsel – Triangle Pacific Corp./ Division of Armstrong World Industries (November 1994 – July 2001)

General corporate practice for $1 billion manufacturer of hardwood flooring and kitchen and bathroom cabinets.


Contract Negotiator – HealthCare Compare Corp. (September 1993 – October 1994)

Negotiated sales and corporate contracts, including computer software, hardware, and maintenance agreements, and leases.


Contract Attorney – (Chicago and Dallas) (November 1991 – September 1993)

Advised client and managed legal and business issues for purchase of hair salon; negotiated and drafted purchase agreement and lease, and incorporated client's business. Provided legal services to two Dallas law firms: Donahoe, Jameson & Kolb and Langley & Branch. Contract attorney for Saitlin, Patzik & Frank Ltd., a corporate/ securities firm in Chicago.


Associate – Jones, Day, Reavis & Pogue (Dallas) (April 1989– November 1991)

Corporate team attorney for $429 million recapitalization of major real estate developer's real properties. Tracked and charted properties, partnerships, and principals involved throughout the deal. Drafted legal opinion and managed the due diligence team. Drafted insider trading policy and Section 16 guidelines for client's directors and employees.


Associate – Adler, Kaplan & Begy (Chicago) (litigation practice) (December 1987– April 1989)

​Practiced insurance defense litigation, including drafting pleadings and discovery, arguing motions, and negotiating case settlements. Second chair in federal court products liability trial resulting in favorable verdict of $400,000. Successfully defended client at administrative hearing against fine and suspension before the Illinois Department of Agriculture.
